The Beginning of the End

I am a wife, sister, mother, daughter, friend, cousin, child care provider and most importantly a 5'7" overweight woman ready to go from FAT to FIT in just a few short months.

Before I even begin, I'm not going to stop this time. I will keep going, regardless of how long it takes me. If I take a break (which is not something I plan on doing), I WILL get back to work. I don't want to be one of those that just give up. I've been one before, and I REFUSE to be one again. It will be a daily struggle, but I know I possess the qualities to overcome this. It's time to finally reach my destination. No more detours. No more turnarounds. I will get there, and it WILL be permanent. There's no going back. Slow and Steady. That's how I will WIN!

My Plan:

  • Consume 1000-1200 calories a day

  • Cardio 5 times a week

  • No sweets

  • Blog at least two times a week (one being my weight loss/gain)

I will need all the encouragement and advice anyone can give me. This is going to be a long and very hard journey but I know I can do it, I NEEd to do it for my health and my family.

Starting weight:

  3. woo hoo! there is nothing like challenging yourself and proving all of the negative thoughts you have for yourself wrong!! I am rooting for you! I think that starting out, the best advice i can give you, is to make sure your thoughts dont get the best of you. dont think that your dieting, think of it as a way of life. It has always helped me to picture myself the way I want to be. let that be your motivation anytime you get discouraged. Also there is a book by Oxygen magazine (womens fitness) that you can find in the magazine rack that has some tips on diet combined with different excersises that are focussed on losing fat as quick as possible. It's what i am starting with and its very insightful and motivating!!!
